Anglia Sporting - for the Ultimate Sporting Bird...

Staying With Anglia Sporting

If you require accommodation and food (breakfasts, packed lunches when in the field & evening meals) the additional cost is currently £50 per gun/night. Many of our clients come from overseas and stay for anything up to a week but please note; we are not a fully fledged catering establishment or a B&B, this is simply our home but we offer good comfortable farmhouse accommodation with some damn good home cooked food. Indeed we believe many of our regular clients come as much for the food and socialising as the shooting! We always try to buy locally produced, quality food, everything comes from local farms and farm shops/markets. Our meat comes from a local butcher ranked among the best in the country and the vegetables are all farmed within Suffolk. We use fresh locally caught fish even locally produced salami, and home produced honey alongside local beers and wines, although we do stray further afield for some of those last two items. Wherever our food comes from we always try to buy the best so if you’ve any worries about staying over for a few days think again and try us, the hospitality is worth the visit even if the pigeons aren’t playing by our rules!

We will provide breakfasts (usually full English) packed lunches when in the field, and evening meals with a drink or two. We can accommodate between 6 and 10 people depending upon the make-up of a party in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, 1 en-suite. However if you prefer or if you are a large group we can also recommend a variety of other local venues depending upon the level and quality of accommodation you’d like. In any event please check availability before booking.

Let us know what you want and we’ll do our best to accommodate that. You’ll need to give us some dates to work with; ideally a first, second and third choice, and we’ll then be able to give you a firm idea of what is and when it’s possible. If there’s only 1 or 2 guns we can sometimes find some ‘last minute’ space but please for 3, 4 or more guns the longer bookings are left the shorter time we have to arrange things and the majority of bookings are generally being taken at least four/six months in advance especially for larger groups staying for a number of back to back days during our busiest times and at weekends. Early booking gets you guaranteed dates.
