We do pigeon shooting with a difference, more akin to those gatherings for game shooting. A friendly, light hearted atmosphere, good food, good drink and good company. Our speciality, a weekend shooting break, comprises two days pigeon shooting plus stay with us and enjoy our hospitality.
- 2 Days inclusive special price of £300.00 per gun. Minimum 2 guns, weekends only.
- Non-shooters are also welcome at £100.00 per person for the two days.
- Parties from 2 (guns) to 6 (guns) can be catered for with accompanying partners if required.
- Single days are available by special arrangement (shooting only) at £115
.00 per gun or £
65.00 if fully DIY.
Shooting is currently limited to 5 days per week and whilst individual days are
catered for a special weekend package that offers some fine shooting opportunities
at a very agreeable rate is our main aim.
The area around us has huge acreages of arable land interspersed with mixed woodland, ideal
Woodpigeon habitat. Different crop options are available most of the year and we
can provide all the decoying equipment necessary; hides, decoys, rotarys, etc. for
what can be some brilliant days shooting. You'll need to be appropriately dressed
ideally in camouflage plus facemask or at the very least a good cap.
Bring your own gun or we can hire you one. Air gunners are also welcome. Experienced pigeon shooters and novices alike
are welcome and everyone is dedicated to working hard to make your visit well worthwhile.

Should you have all your own equipment and wish to set up your own hide and decoys
we are quite happy to accommodate that situation. We will take you to a shooting
spot where you can set up and spend the day. You must pack your own gear and leave
the field at the agreed time having first cleared any litter including cartridges
from the site. Remember though; the Woodpigeon is a wild bird; we can only supply
you with opportunities. As with all wild bird shooting bag numbers can never be
guaranteed but on an average day we would expect you to shoot somewhere between
30-100 cartridges and depending upon the shooters skills there are opportunities
for good bags.
Being located in the heart of excellent shooting country gives us the chance to
not only offer some exciting pigeon shooting, our particular favourite, but we will
also arrange pheasant and partridge days along with duck flighting or indeed any
number of shooting sport opportunities, including clays if you're in need of the
practice. Deer stalking is also available.
We also arrange bird-hunting trips to Scotland and South Africa via our professional hunting
associates there. An excellent extension to your shooting season.

BASC Trade Members
We are trade members of the BASC and work to the BASC Code of Practice for woodpigeon shooting, copies of which are available on request.
You will need to be a member of BASC or similar field sports organisation for insurance purposes and we will require proof of current membership. A valid shotgun certificate will also be required.
