These recipes have been gleaned (stolen if you like but gleaned is such an expressive word; smacks of Huge Fearnley-Whittingstall) from a variety of sauces (sic: but we are talking cooking here) around the world. Some are for doves and other pigeon species but they should hold good for our own Woodpigeon. Quite frankly we'd no idea there were so many ways to cook these birds and could have put up dozens of different recipes. Instead we've restricted them to these few options and will add more as time goes on.
Where we know of the originator of these recipes we've acknowledged their claim without substantiating it. If one of your recipes appears and you've any objections we apologise and will, if asked, delete it or acknowledge your work. We should say that we've not tried each and every one of them so no complaints to us please. You cook 'em, you eat 'em and if they're not to your liking... try again! If you've a woodpigeon recipe or recipe for another game bird that's not currently here try submitting it and we may include it.
